What is a UV ultrasonic cleaner?
A UV ultrasonic cleaner combines two cleaning technologies: ultrasonic waves physically remove buildup, while UV-C light kills 99.9% of bacteria and germs. US100 and US200 are the only two Hello Bright models that feature both technologies in one device.
How often should I clean my retainer?
We recommend cleaning your retainer daily. Bacteria starts colonizing your retainer within hours of wear. A quick cycle each morning keeps your appliance clear, odor-free, and hygienic.
Is ultrasonic cleaning better than soaking tablets or brushing?
Brushing can scratch your retainer's surface, creating grooves where bacteria hide. Soaking tablets clean the surface but can't reach deep into crevices. Ultrasonic cleaning works by creating millions of microscopic bubbles that implode on contact, reaching places brushing and soaking simply can't.
What's the difference between the US100, US200, and US300?
The US100 is our full-featured cleaner, combining ultrasonic power with built-in UV light disinfection.
The US200 offers the same tank size and dual technology in a sleeker, more compact design with a premium soft-touch finish.
The US300 is our most affordable option; a smaller ultrasonic cleaner without UV, perfect if you just want a quick, effective clean.
Does an ultrasonic cleaner work on Invisalign, night guards, and dentures?
Yes. Hello Bright ultrasonic cleaners work with all removable dental appliances, clear retainers, Invisalign aligners, Hawley retainers, night guards, mouth guards, and dentures. The ultrasonic cleaning action is gentle enough to avoid warping or scratching any material.
